Change dimmer to the PD-6ANS- most likely would solve or at least reduce the “ghosting” you are experiencing.Change the LEDs to an approved product- may not solve the problem.The more current that passes over a filament, the hotter it will get, the brighter it will burn, and the quicker it will burn out. Using 2.5-volt bulbs on a 3.5 volt string will most likely result in a very dim string of lights. If you use 2.5-volt bulb on a light string rated to carry 3.5 volts, the higher electrical current will quickly burn out your new replacements. Most string lights require 2.5-volt or 3.5-volt bulbs. The resistance in these conductors adds up – and your LEDs start to operate below their optimal voltage range, resulting in dimming. Voltage drop comes into play when your LED strip runs, your wiring, or both, are too long. LED luminous intensity is a function of the current that traverses it (among other factors). Practically, that means two different LEDs (one green and one yellow for instance) will have different brightnesses (more precisely, luminous intensities) when they are traversed by the same current (forward current).
